HAVE YOU EVER WORN REGENERATED PLASTIC?

The fashion industry is the second sector in the world with the highest environmental impact, right after the oil industry.

As producers, by changing the point of view on production.

As consumers there are many choices that can help us reduce our negative impact on the environment: avoiding fast fashion for example, washing our clothes always at low temperatures, even at 15° our socks are clean, buying only quality and certified products, preferring recycled or natural materials such as cotton, wool, and above all recycling our clothes or putting them on the second-hand market once we no longer use them.

Ogyre was not created as a clothing manufacturer, our business is focused on safeguarding the seas. To achieve this and be sustainable, we decided to

challenge the classic rules of the textile production chain through our Marine Litter Products.

We only produce garments made from plastics recovered from the sea. Each of our swimsuits corresponds to 2 kilograms of plastic waste, so we contribute to cleaning the seas and not producing new plastic.

Furthermore, each item is recyclable, so its life cycle does not end once it's worn out. It can be re-transformed into new yarn to create new collections and thus also avoid the production of new plastic.

Producing with a positive impact on the environment allows us to give you the opportunity to reverse the vicious cycle of consumption: every time you purchase one of our Marine Litter Products, you are contributing to cleaning the seas by wearing plastics collected from the oceans.

And most importantly, it allows us to be sustainable as a business: part of the proceeds from sales is always reinvested in recovering new plastic from the sea.
