Ogyre is a mindset.
It is our way of rethinking both the consumption and business models that over the last years have led to a deterioration of the relationship between man and the environment. The protection of the oceans is at the core of our project, with the goal of overturning a well-known paradigm: human consumption and exploitation of the planet’s resources to achieve unlimited growth which is however unsustainable for the environment.
The name OGYRE comes from Ocean Gyres, circular ocean currents essential for the ecosystem but sadly better known today to trap plastic in huge garbage patches.
We want the Ocean Gyres to become a virtuous and vital circle for the ocean again.
This is why we have created a sustainable and transparent chain, which allows us to collect plastic from our oceans through a network of fishermen and turn it into products.
We thus give people the opportunity to be actively involved in saving the ocean.
Each product purchased or funded project is a concrete action for the ocean: The collection of plastic waste.No ocean, no life.
